El Condicional

The conditional tense is formed by combining the infinitive of the verb with a conditional ending. The conditional tells you what would have happend or what should have happened. It is the past's future.

Regular Conditional Verb Engings

-ar, -er and -ir
-ía
-ías
-ía
-íamos
-íais
-ían

Irregular Conditional Verbs
Some verbs change their stem when used in the conditional tense.

decir = dir-
hacer = har-
querer = querr-
saber = sabr-
poder = podr-
venir = vendr-
caber = cabr-
poner = pondr-
tener = tendr-
salir = saldr-
valer = valdr-
