Regular Preterit Verb Endings

Preterit Verbs with Stem or Ending changes

Some -ar verbs change their endings in first person singular.
-gar = -gué
-car = -qué
-zar = -cé

Some -er and -ir verbs whose stems end in a vowel change i to y in third person singular and plural.
